Guest Clergy You are invited to bring your own clergy to perform wedding ceremonies at Wesley. Clergy must be properly registered in the State of Minnesota. You are responsible for verifying this and for obtaining your marriage license.
Do I Have to Be a Member?
Historic Wesley Church welcomes guests to use our space for their wedding. You do not have to be a member of Wesley or of the United Methodist denomination to have your wedding here. Our only requirement is that you work closely with our wedding coordinator to assure all details of your wedding day are carefully planned. Decorations
You are welcome to decorate the church for your wedding. Decorations and supplies can not be brought in until your wedding day. Please note that you may not use tape or any other adhesive to attach decorations to the wood pews, however, rubberbands may be used. Aisle runners may be brought in as well.
Details: The center aisle is 53 feet long and 4 feet 3 inches wide. There are 15 rows of pews on the left and 14 rows of pews on the right-hand side of the main center aisle.

The event coordinator will assist you in planning for this time allotment. On Saturday and Sunday, you will not be allowed to arrive at the church before 11:00 AM.

Tobacco products may only be used outside the building and must be disposed of in the appropriate receptacles provided. Violation of this policy will lead to an immediate cancellation of the service.
The wedding party must be mindful of security for valuables. The dressing rooms will be locked during the wedding service, however, the church is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
Our beautiful sanctuary is not air-conditioned, although it is well-ventilated for your comfort.
Parking
The church has limited spots (20) in its parking lot. These are available for you on your wedding day. Most often, these spots are used for the florist, photographer, and close family members. Guests are encouraged to park in the nearby parking ramps. We provide a map for you which details these ramps.
